A self-described visual learning architect, Ashley Flores helps schools and organizations reimagine how to serve their learners with a focus on blended learning.. She is particularly committed to creating meaningful learning opportunities by translating curriculum into tangible digital experiences. Ashley spent a decade in education where she taught technology to students in K-12 and teachers. Soon after earning her M.Ed. in educational technology, Ashley put her degree to use giving workshops  at conferences and consulting. Most notably she worked at a national level with juvenile justice agencies developing and implementing blended learning solutions for incarcerated youth. Most recently, Ashley served as a consultant on the design and development of a 9-month distance learning curriculum for a non-profit organization. 


Ashley aspires to combine her passion for producing content with her love for education.

​Year 1-Lehman High School

  • Grant Funded-Blended Learning Specialist for Lehman High School, 9th grade Math cohort participating in a grant funded blended learning pilot

  • Coached educators on blended instructional design, blended models, developing learner playlist and utilizing student data to target learning gaps.

  • Assisted math cohort with content by curating videos, activities and resources

  • Collaborated with District Math Coordinator on best instructional practice

Year 2- Dahlstrom Middle School

  • Collaborated with admin on development of school-wide blended learning plan, deployed with small group of Initiators who were offered ongoing support.

  • Conducted learning walks to assess on differentiation, collaboration and accountable talk

  • Developed individualized instructional coaching plans for educators on a growth plan

  • Conducted ongoing staff training on Joh Hattie instructional strategies

  • Creating GAFE self-paced digital learning modules for teachers to learn Google Tools

  • Created a educator space for teachers to relax and learn. Secured furniture donations from various vendors for the space.

  • Spearheaded national initiatives for 20 State Juvenile Justice Agencies in CEEAS consortium, co-developed a National Blended Learning Edtech conference

  • Created, managed first national coding competition for incarcerated youth

  • Year-round virtual coach for Juvenile Justice educators throughout the country, focus was on curriculum design and instructional strategies for blended learning. 

  • Feedback was on offered on curriculum and creating small group activities

  • Led and collaborated on rollout of Google Apps for Education for Oregon Juvenile and Oklahoma Youth Academy


Taught 9-12th grade and K-5th in low socio-economic districts. Four years of developing,

tech curriculum and project-based activities that were student-centered, state aligned.
